This is a self-supporting site dedicated to assisting everyone in finding Alcoholics Anonymous 12 Step meetings in Anthem, Arizona and the surrounding area north of Phoenix.  We are glad you found us! ..
This is the Navigation Section
This site was created with the desire to honor the traditions of AA first and foremost.  We practice honoring the following traditions:  7th, 3rd, 10th, etc.
Other Useful Information
Visiting from out of town? As you can see, there is a meeting in the North Phoenix / Anthem / Carefree area every day of the week.  You can use our "Meetings by Area Page' to help you find what meeting will be closest.  If you click on a meeting tab, there will be a link to "get directions to here" displayed.  Hopefully you know your present location's address...

While we hope that you will find and attend one of our meetings, we also want to make sure that you find a meeting more "in town" than where we are.  Here is a
good link that may help you.  Also, call the AA hotline at 602-264-1341 to speak with a live alcoholic in recovery 24 hours a day.
Need a ride to a meeting? This is a bit of a puzzler, and some of the local meeting patrons have begun discussion about getting an active 12th Step service in place.  Right now, the best bet is to call 602-264-1341, but there is not an up to date call-out list for the area.  In the fairly near future, we hope to be more self-supporting in this regard.
New to AA?  How do I get started? You're not alone! We know it may seem scary, we've all been to our first meeting.  The best way to get started is to just get to a meeting.  It doesn't matter if you are outpatient, court ordered, self referring, - just find us, and say hello.
Frequently Asked Questions  (FAQ's) - based on feedback we have received, here are some things that we think will help you make the most of this site...
Q:  Who's responsible for keeping this site's meeting info accurate? Answer: You are!  There is no central authority in AA that is responsible to groups and the public for meeting info.  This site is only as good as the information received from the constituent groups.  If you find information here that you know is not accurate, please -send us a message and let us know.
Q:  What geographical area's meetings are covered by this site? Answer:  There is no exact limit, but the general rule has been any meeting that the people who live in the area regularly attend.  This area translates to roughly north of the loop 101, east of Lake Pleasant, west of Pima Road, and Black Canyon city is the northern boundary.
